A one-day workshop for beginners offering students an opportunity to delve into the mysteries of this fascinating form of divination.

You will learn about the tarot and how to read the 22 Major Arcana cards for you and for others, what the symbolism of the tarot means, and why the cards have mystical connotations.

In this one day workshop we will explore Tarot and its symbolism. We will use different methods to tap into our intuition and learn how to understand the cards. No previous experience is needed.

The images within the Tarot deck act as mirrors. The cards offer us a chance to tap into Archetypal symbols and relate them to our everyday lives, reflecting the true nature of a situation back to us.

The workshop will cover:

* History of the Tarot

* Explaining about the universal energy of Tarot

* The astrological signs of the Major Arcana

* Numerology within the Tarot from the Fool card – World card

* Emphasis on the Major Arcana

* Meaning of the symbols and colours within the Tarot

The workshop will combine theory, discussion and group practical work. Although general handouts will be available, we would recommend that you purchase your own Rider-Waite Deck for practical use on the day, although should you already own another deck this may be brought along as an alternative.

Immediate impressions can sometimes be more meaningful than lengthy analysis, and by the end of the workshop you will have a sound base for interpreting the cards and giving a responsible reading.
