Believe - Reviewed by Malcolm Robinson

E-mail Print PDF

I regularly receive books from publishing houses to review all of which in one way shape or form, are devoted to all things weird and wonderful.  As a reviewer, I do hope that when I write about each book I am sent, that the review is beneficial to those who read my review.  I do tend to be critical (where need be) and will say it as it is.  But at the end of the day, my reviews are my own personal feelings, but having been involved with this subject all my life, I do believe that my comments should be regarded as constructive and make one desire to buy that reviewed book.  Now I don’t usually say the above in a written review, but I feel that the comments above should be viewed in the light of the following, because for me, it is a BIG statement.  And here it is.

This book, ‘Believe’ by Philip Kinsella is the best book that I have ever read on the subject of UFOs, their occupants, and where they come from.  It’s as simple as that folks.  I have read hundreds of books over the years since I have gotten into this subject and there have indeed been some ‘belters’ out there, really good books, from authors of the likes of Jacque Vallee and Jenny Randles, but this one for me, really hit home.  I was floored as if beaten to the canvass by a well aimed punch by a heavy weight boxer.  Very rarely does a book grab me as much as this one did.  Don’t get me wrong and no disrespect to the other authors of whose books I have also reviewed this year of whom I have written about in glowing terms.  This one for me, as I’ve said, was the last piece in the jigsaw.  It made sense, it made indelible sense.  The final piece of the puzzle for me was finally put into place.  Never have I been so engrossed in a book which has captivated my thoughts as I poured through each paragraph, taking time to re-read it, to digest the hard hitting text that I had just read.  I doubt very much if this review will convey to you just how enormous this book is and the thing is of course, you may not entirely agree with the author’s sentiments.  And that’s the thing, we all, each and every one of us, are learning every day about various things.  We read, we listen, we view information and take in images from a wide diverse range of media sources whether that be factually correct, or factually ‘incorrect’! (Take Weapons of Mass Destruction, as a for instance!)   We are as individuals our own collectors of information.  How many people have ‘seen God’ I mean actually have ‘seen’ God?  Not many I’m sure, yet millions across the planet believe in him.  What I’m saying is, belief in something does not necessarily mean it’s true, one has to search, one has to collect and research and sort the wheat out from the chaff to reach one’s own conclusions.  That’s why it’s important to read a wide diversity of books from authors with their own thoughts and ideas when it comes to either UFOs or the paranormal.

Eventually there comes along a book (or an author) who has, what for you, is the answer.  You know it, you feel it, and it sits home with you in your very soul.  Philip Kinsella’s book, ‘Believe’ is such a book.  (Well it is for me anyway)  You the reader of this review own it to yourself to go out and buy this book.  You might not agree with my statements above, but at the very least you owe it to yourself as an enquirer of the paranormal, to open every cupboard door, to look down every alley, and to search the UFOlogical quagmire for those shining gems that are there to be found.  I found it with this book.

First and foremost, who is the author?  Well he is Philip Kinsella and has spent over 20 years studying the UFO phenomenon.  He has appeared in many television and radio shows and co-authored a couple of children’s books.  But more to the point (especially for me) is the fact that Philip is a gifted psychic medium who has travelled extensively around Europe sharing his wonderful gift.  He was also a witness to quite an astounding UFO event at Rendlesham Forest in Suffolk England (not the main one that we all know about, but a controlled one!)

This book is packed solid with some incredible information about not only UFOs sightings but UFO Abductions, Hybrids, Near Death Experiences, Re-Incarnation, Cloned Souls, Cattle Mutilations, Spirits and so much more.  All of this dear reader has a bearing on the UFO phenomena you’ll see all this as you go through the book.  This book brings it home to you about how bloody little we know about ourselves and the universe around us.  Of how most (but thankfully not all) scientists mock those who say that there is a paranormal world out there and who believe that UFOs exist.  New research is opening up new horizons of science.  The quantum world is an area of which I’m sure we will be discovering more and more about as the years roll by.  Philip quite rightly says that we are conditioned by what we see and read on the news.  Many of the science books written years ago are now old hat.  New discoveries in science and medicine change those books, and yet discoveries in the paranormal and UFOlogical sciences are often laughed and scorned at, simply because they appear outlandish and crazy.  Let us not forget we imprisoned Galileo for saying that stones fell from the sky, (we now know them as meteorites) but at that time the scientists of the day heaped scorn on Galileo for even suggesting such a daft thing.  This is why I believe that this book, ‘Believe’ should be read by scientists and debunkers alike.  We are not doing ourselves any favours by putting a blindfold on ourselves and turning our heads away from probably the most exciting and beneficial thing that has happened (and is still happening) to mankind right now.  ‘The UFO presence’.

As I’ve stated, the author is a psychic medium who has had many UFO experiences throughout his life.  Needless to say, he also has also seen ‘spirit people’ on many occasions as well.  Philip states that we humans, were seeded here on planet Earth by ‘beings’ from elsewhere of which I wholeheartedly agree.  His own personal UFO incident that occurred to him and some friends in Rendlesham Forest is utterly incredible, but I believe every word of it.  Normally in my reviews I’d give you a taster of what to expect but if I did it in this review, I’d probably end up re-writing the book!

Look, my above comments I don’t make lightly.  As a researcher myself into UFOs and the paranormal, I have found the book of books, (OR DID IT FIND ME!)

Buy it, read it, talk about it, and give it to your friends.  Ladies and gentlemen, boys and girls, we are indeed dealing with visitors from other worlds/dimensions, who are here, and have always been here.  I’d be mightily surprised if this book does not change your life and your perception on the bizarre enigma that is UFOs.

Great book, great read, I recommend it highly.
